What does this fault code mean?
The tyre pressure sensor in one of the wheels has gone silent after being active earlier in the drive. As the module cannot tell which wheel it is, the fault may concern any of the four. It may be damage to the sensor or a remote receiver that no longer works. The driver sees a message in the display.
Possible causes
- Damaged tyre pressure sensor
- Remote receiver not working
What you can do
- 1Check the remote receiver with the remote control, and have a workshop troubleshoot it if it does not respond
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the sensor ID for the fault code and compare it with what was previously sent from the wheels
- 3Have a workshop replace the sensor on the wheel whose ID is missing from the current reading
- 4Clear the fault code and road test to see whether the message returns
