What you can do

- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply cable is not broken, for example by checking continuity between two contact points
- 4Look for chafing and pinch damage on the cable to the emergency brake light
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the wiring and the control module output
Symptoms you may notice1
- A message appears in the text window
What the fault can affect2
- After 100 driving cycles with the fault, the function switches off permanently
- Clearing the fault codes resets the output
