Applies to the following models:

Show models by year and engine (4)
What does this fault code mean?
The Central Electronic Module (CEM) supplies power to the sensors for the parking assist. The fault is stored when the supply voltage is too low, which is caused by the supply wire being short-circuited to earth.
Possible causes
- The supply wire is short-circuited to earth
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Try the parking assist when reversing and see whether it gives a signal, then clear the fault code and road test
- 3Check the wiring to the parking sensors and the CEM for chafing and pinch damage
- 4With the connectors disconnected, use a multimeter to check that the supply wire has no contact with earth (the body)
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the parking sensors and the control module
Symptoms you may notice1
- Parking assist at the front and rear does not work
What the fault can affect3
- The function switches off during the driving cycle in which the fault is detected
- If the fault remains, the function is switched off permanently after 100 driving cycles where the fault was detected
- Erasing the fault codes and starting a new driving cycle resets the function
