What does this fault code mean?
The right camera module (RCM) communicates with the CEM over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when components inside the camera module do not work, and The camera module's own internal fault is therefore behind the fault code.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the right camera module (RCM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the connectors to the right camera module are secure and not corroded
- 2With the engine running, check whether the blind spot system on the right side works, then clear the fault code and road test
- 3If the fault code does not return after the road test the fault may have been intermittent; otherwise it is permanent
- 4The camera module is not sold as a spare part, so for a permanent fault the outside mirror must be replaced, which a workshop carries out
