What does this fault code mean?
The CEM communicates with the overhead console (OHC) and the rear reading light (RRL) over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when the overhead console cannot be configured, and The cause may be a damaged overhead console, or a sunshade motor that is broken or wrongly connected.
Possible causes
- Damaged overhead console (OHC)
- The sunshade motor is broken or not correctly connected
What you can do
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool, read the freeze frame data of the fault code, which shows whether the fault concerns the sunshade motor
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check that the connector to the sunshade motor is correctly connected and secure
- 4Clear the fault code and try the sunshade: if the fault code returns, the fault remains
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the sunshade motor and the overhead console, as configuration or replacement is workshop work
