What does this fault code mean?
The central electronic module (CEM) feeds the right turn indicator through an output. The code is set when the signal from the output is too high, which can be caused by an open circuit in the supply wire or the supply wire being shorted to voltage.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the supply wire to the right turn indicator
- The supply wire to the right turn indicator is shorted to voltage
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then switch on the right indicator and check that both lamps work
- 2Check that the indicator fuse is intact
- 3Look for breaks and loose connectors on the supply wire to the right indicator
- 4Use a multimeter to see whether the supply wire has voltage with the ignition off
- 5If the wire is intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the module output
Symptoms you may notice4
- The right front indicator does not work
- The right rear indicator does not work
