Possible causes
- The supply wire to the interior lighting is shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the supply wire to the interior lighting
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then switch on the interior lighting and see whether it works
- 2Check that the fuses for the interior lighting are intact
- 3Look for breaks and chafing on the supply wire, especially where the wiring harness is fixed
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire has no contact with ground (the bodywork) and is intact
- 5If the wire is intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the module output
