What does this fault code mean?
The central electronic module (CEM) controls the rear wiper motor. The code is linked to an open circuit on the signal cable to the wiper, and The fault is usually noticed when you try to use the rear wiper.

- Open circuit on the signal cable to the rear wiper
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code and see whether the rear wiper works when it is started
- 2Check that the rear wiper fuse is intact
- 3Look for loose, corroded or broken connectors on the signal cable at the wiper motor
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal cable is continuous between its two ends
- 5If the wire is intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the module output and the motor
