What does this fault code mean?
The central module has registered a serious disturbance on LIN bus 14, so communication on the bus is blocked. The fault gives no noticeable symptoms for the driver. The cause is either a short circuit or a break in the wiring of the bus.
Possible causes
- Short circuit between the LIN wires
- Open circuit in one of the LIN wires
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact, using the owner's manual
- 2Test the functions linked to the bus with the buttons and controls. If nothing shows, the fault may have been logged only temporarily
- 3Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop trace the bus wiring, since a short circuit or an open circuit is the likely cause
