What does this fault code mean?
The fault code means that the control module storing the fault cannot reach the parking camera control module (PAC), or the link is disturbed. The parking camera then does not work. The fault concerns the network and may lie in the wiring or in the camera module itself.
Possible causes
- No voltage supply to the parking camera module (PAC)
- Broken ground wire to the PAC
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open or shorted CAN wiring
- A module not intended for the car, such as a used unit with other software or hardware
What you can do
- 1Check that the parking camera fuse is intact
- 2Check the power wire to the PAC for shorts and breaks, and the ground wire for breaks
- 3Check the connections to the PAC for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the CAN wiring in the extended network
