What does this fault code mean?
The CPM registers an internal fault and locks the heater out until the fault code has cleared. The fault may be temporary, for example due to interference when the module starts up, or it may keep recurring. The workshop decides whether the module needs replacing.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the combustion preheater module (CPM)
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check that the heater works after a restart
- 2If the code keeps appearing on different occasions, tell the workshop
- 3Have a workshop assess the fault and replace the CPM if it is permanent

- Poor heating in the passenger compartment
- The parking heater does not work
