What does this fault code mean?
The combustion preheater module (CPM) measures the resistance of the glow plug, and the fault is set when the resistance is too high. The heater's function is then blocked. The cause may be a damaged glow plug or faulty cables and connections to the glow plug.

- Damaged glow plug
- Defective cables and connections to the glow plug
What you can do
- 1Check that the glow plug is seated properly and shows no signs of corrosion
- 2Check the cable to the glow plug visually for damage
- 3With the ignition off, check the glow plug connectors: they should be secure and free from oxidation
- 4If the connector or cable to the glow plug is damaged, have a workshop assess it and replace the glow plug
- 5Have a workshop download the latest software to the CPM and then recheck the glow plug

- The front of the cabin heats up slowly
- The rear of the cabin is not warm enough
- The heater does not work
- The parking heater does not work
