What does this fault code mean?
The heater body of the fuel preheater has an electrical fault, a short to ground. The fault only applies to diesel heaters of the TT-V type. The heater's function is blocked, and the heating in the cabin becomes poorer or slower.
Possible causes
- Damaged fuel preheater
What you can do
- 1With the ignition off, look for corrosion in the connector to the fuel preheater.
- 2Look for visible damage to the cable to the fuel preheater, such as chafing or breaks.
- 3Replace the fuel preheater if its connector or cable is damaged. If you are unsure, have a workshop assess it.
- 4If the connector and cable are in good condition but the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel preheater.
- 5If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop update the software in the auxiliary heater and investigate further.

- The parking heater does not work
- The heat does not get hot enough in the rear or front section
- The heater does not work with the temperature control
- Warm-up is slow in the rear or front section
