What does this fault code mean?
The heater control module has registered an internal fault, and the heater cannot be started until the fault code has been erased. If the fault has only occurred once, it may be temporary, for example a disturbance at start-up. If the fault returns, the control module needs to be replaced.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the heater control module
What you can do
- 1Erase the fault code and test start the heater. If the fault does not return, it may have been a temporary disturbance at start-up.
- 2If the fault is persistent, have a workshop download the latest software to the heater and then check that the fault has cleared.
- 3If the fault returns after the software update, have a workshop replace the heater control module.
