What does this fault code mean?
The heater control module has registered an internal fault in its program memory. The heater cannot be started until the fault code has been erased. The fault comes from the control module itself. If it is temporary it may disappear, but if it returns the control module needs replacing.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the heater control module
What you can do
- 1Erase the fault code and test start the heater. If the fault does not return, it was probably a temporary disturbance at start-up.
- 2If the fault is lasting, have a workshop download the latest software to the heater and then check that the fault has cleared.
- 3Replace the heater control module only once a workshop has confirmed a lasting fault in the program memory.
