What does this fault code mean?
The auxiliary heater control module (CPM) has detected a fault in its internal calibration and parameter memory. The heater cannot be started until the fault code has been cleared.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the auxiliary heater module
- A disturbance as the module started up, if the fault has only occurred once
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and try the heater again
- 2Check that the battery is in good condition – low voltage can cause false internal faults
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop update the module software
- 4If it persists after updating, the module needs replacing
