What does this fault code mean?
The load aid button has been held in for more than one minute, and the convertible roof control module has set the fault code. This may be because the button was pressed too long, because it has stuck in the active position, or because of a fault in the wiring or the control module. The load aid may then work poorly or not at all.
Possible causes
- The load aid button was held down for too long by mistake
- The button is not working
- Short to ground in the cable between the button and the control module
- Internal fault in the convertible roof control module
What you can do
- 1Check that the load aid button does not stick or stay pressed. Press it once and release it.
- 2Remove any objects that are pressing against the button.
- 3With the ignition on, check with a multimeter that the cable from the button is not short-circuited to ground (the body).
- 4If the fault code does not return when the button works normally, no action is needed.
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the convertible roof control module.
