What does this fault code mean?
The power consumption of hall sensor 19 deviates from the normal values both when it is on and when it is off. This may be caused by a damaged hall sensor or by an internal fault in the convertible roof control module. The roof may then be operated only in a limited way or not at all.

- Damaged hall sensor
- Internal fault in the convertible roof control module
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on, check that hall sensor 19 is firmly seated and not loose in its mounting.
- 2Look for wear and signs of damage on hall sensor 19.
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read hall sensor 19 in live data while the roof runs, and see whether it changes between on and off.
- 4If there are signs of damage to hall sensor 19, have a workshop replace it. If the fault remains, have a workshop check the roof control module.
