What does this fault code mean?
Hall sensor 19 in the convertible roof has not given the expected value within the time the control module waits. The roof may then move slowly or not at all. If the fault code CRM-C032 is already stored, this code is not shown, so start with that one. The cause may be a damaged or displaced sensor, or a mechanical part preventing the roof from moving.

- Damaged hall sensor
- Hall sensor 19 that has moved out of position
- A mechanical part preventing the roof from moving
What you can do
- 1With the ignition off, check that hall sensor 19 is firmly seated and that its connector is not oxidised or loose.
- 2Visually examine hall sensor 19 for wear or damage. Also check that the roof is undamaged, so the part the sensor should detect still comes within reach.
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: hold an iron object against hall sensor 19 and check that the value changes in live data.
- 4If hall sensor 19 is in order but no fault is visible, have a workshop replace it.
