What does this fault code mean?
The convertible roof module (CRM) was expecting a particular signal from position sensor 6 while the roof was moving, but it did not arrive in time. The roof sensors report where the roof and its parts are, so the movement can be controlled safely.
Possible causes
- Something is mechanically blocking the roof's movement, such as dirt, ice or a damaged part
- The position sensor has moved out of place
- Damaged position sensor
What you can do
- 1Check that nothing is blocking the roof, such as items in the boot, dirt or ice
- 2Look for damaged or loose parts in the roof mechanism
- 3Clear the code and try opening and closing the roof again
- 4If it returns, have a workshop check the sensor position and function
