What does this fault code mean?
The readings from hall sensor 6 and position sensor 17 at the front do not agree with one another. The roof control module therefore cannot rely on the position from both sensors. The cause can be a damaged sensor, a sensor that has moved, or a protruding metal part that wrongly activates one of them. The roof must be calibrated after a position sensor is replaced.

- A sensor has moved out of position
- A protruding metal part wrongly activates a sensor
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and test the roof to see whether it returns
- 2Check that hall sensor 6 and position sensor 17 are firmly fitted and that their connectors are clean
- 3Visually inspect hall sensor 6 and position sensor 17 for wear or signs that they are not working
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, follow the status of both sensors in live data while the roof runs
- 5After replacing a position sensor, the roof needs calibrating, which a workshop should carry out
