What does this fault code mean?
The hydraulic pump is activated but the supply voltage to it is too low, and the fault code is set. The cause can be a weak voltage supply, an open circuit in the supply lead to the pump, a blown fuse for the pump, or an internal fault in the convertible roof module (CRM). The roof may then operate to a limited extent or not at all.
Possible causes
- Supply voltage too low
- Open circuit in the voltage supply lead to the hydraulic pump
- The hydraulic pump fuse is blown
- Internal fault in the roof control module (CRM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the battery is charged and that the terminals are tight
- 2Check the hydraulic system fuse in the engine bay fuse box, and replace it if it is blown
- 3Inspect where the hydraulic pump connects to the roof control module for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If the fault remains after these checks, a workshop should look at the roof control module
