What does this fault code mean?
No signal arrives from the hydraulic pump at the roof control module (CRM), and the fault code is set. The code is only set when the pump is activated. The cause can be contact resistance in the connectors, an open circuit in the supply lead to the pump, an internal fault in the pump, or an internal fault in the roof control module.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit in the voltage supply lead to the hydraulic pump
- Internal defect in the hydraulic pump
- Internal fault in the roof control module (CRM)
What you can do
- 1Read out and clear the fault code, test the roof and see whether it returns
- 2Inspect where the hydraulic pump connects to the roof control module, looking for oxidation, corrosion and loose contacts
- 3With a multimeter you can check whether the pump motor has a break
- 4If the pump is faulty, a workshop should replace it. If nothing is found, a workshop should look at the roof control module
