What does this fault code mean?
Over the CAN network the roof control module gets a reading of the voltage supplied to the central electronic module, and that reading is too low. The fault can be caused by a short to ground, poor contact, open circuits in the wiring, or a partly blown fuse for the roof control module.
Possible causes
- Short to ground
- Poor contact in the connections
- Open circuit in the wiring
- Partly blown fuse for the convertible roof module (CRM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. If a fuse has blown, look for a short to ground in the circuit it protects before fitting a new one
- 2With a multimeter you can check that the supply wire to the control module has no intermittent break
- 3Check the earth wire and earth point: they should be firmly fixed and free from oxidation and play
- 4If the fault remains after these checks, a workshop should look at the roof control module

- The push button does not work
- No or limited roof operation
- The radio antenna does not extend or retract
