What does this fault code mean?
DCDC, the DC/DC converter module, reads the system voltage of the car and has found it too low. The fault can be caused by contact resistance or oxidation in the connections, or by a short or open circuit in them. DCDC is part of the high voltage system, so the fault should be investigated by a workshop.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Short circuit or open circuit in the connections
What you can do
- 1Check that the 12-volt battery is charged and that its terminals are tight
- 2The permanent voltage supply cable to DCDC should be checked by a workshop, as it is part of the high voltage system
- 3If the fault remains, a workshop should check the connections to DCDC for open circuit, contact resistance and oxidation
- 4Work on the high voltage system may only be carried out by trained staff in a workshop

- The high voltage battery does not charge, or only partly, while driving
- The PURE, SAVE and AWD drive modes disengage automatically or are not available
- The combustion engine is often or always active in hybrid mode
