What does this fault code mean?
An internal A/D converter in the DC/DC converter control module has failed its own test. A/D converters turn measured signals into values the control module can use. The fault therefore lies in the control module, the high voltage battery does not charge, and hybrid mode is forced.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off and then on again, and see whether the fault code comes back
- 2If the fault remains, a workshop should replace the DC/DC converter control module (DCDC)
- 3As DCDC is part of the high voltage system, work on it may only be carried out by trained staff in a workshop
Symptoms you may notice3
- Text message and warning symbol in the display
- The high voltage battery does not charge while driving
- Hybrid mode is used often or all the time
What the fault can affect2
