What does this fault code mean?
The DC/DC converter control module has found that its internal checks have failed, which points to an electronic fault in the module itself. The code therefore concerns the control module rather than the wiring around it. The code is only stored once the fault is confirmed. Charging of the high voltage battery is affected.
Possible causes
- Internal electronic fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off, wait a moment and switch it on again. Check whether the code has gone
- 2Read and clear the code, then drive the car for a while to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop check the control module and its power supply, and replace the module if needed
- 4The high voltage system may only be handled by qualified personnel. Do not make any changes to the control module or its wiring yourself
Symptoms you may notice4
- Warning symbol and message in the display
- The high voltage battery does not charge or charges poorly
- Drive modes PURE, SAVE and AWD disengage automatically or cannot be selected
- The combustion engine runs all the time in HYBRID mode
What the fault can affect2
- No charging of the high voltage battery
- Hybrid drive mode is forced
