What does this fault code mean?
The DC/DC converter control module has found an internal fault that stops the converter from working as it should. The fault lies in the control module itself, not in the wiring around it. The code is only stored once the fault is confirmed, and charging of the high voltage battery is affected.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the DC/DC converter control module
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off, wait a moment and switch it on again, then check whether the code has gone
- 2Read the code and clear it with your own tool, then drive the car briefly to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop check the converter and replace the control module
- 4The high voltage system may only be handled by qualified personnel. Do not work on the control module or its wiring yourself
Symptoms you may notice4
- Warning symbol and message in the display
- The high voltage battery does not charge or charges poorly
- Drive modes PURE, SAVE and AWD disengage automatically or cannot be selected
- The combustion engine runs all the time in HYBRID mode
What the fault can affect2
- No charging of the high voltage battery
- Hybrid drive mode is forced
