What does this fault code mean?
The DC/DC converter control module has registered that it did not shut down correctly when the ignition was switched off. The fault lies in the control module itself, and the code can be set the next time the ignition is switched on. The fault is generic and gives no further detail on its type. The driver normally notices nothing, but the code should be followed up if it returns.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off, wait a moment and switch it on again, then check whether the code comes back
- 2Read and clear the code with your own tool, and see whether it returns after the next shutdown
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop check the control module and replace it
- 4The high voltage system may only be handled by qualified personnel. Do not make any changes to the converter yourself
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
