What does this fault code mean?
The control for the driver's electric window has been registered as pressed for too long, because the switch has stuck in the pressed position or is damaged. The driver's window then does not work electrically.
Possible causes
- Switch stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged window switch button
What you can do
- 1Press the control a few times and check that it returns fully when released and does not stick
- 2Test the window from another switch, for example on the passenger side, to see whether the fault is in this control
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns; if the button is damaged, the control panel will need replacing, which a workshop can do
- 4Check the window fuse in the car's fuse box
