What does this fault code mean?
The driver's door switch for the passenger window's electric window has been registered as pressed for too long. The switch has either stuck in the pressed position or is damaged, and the passenger window does not work electrically.
Possible causes
- Switch stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged switch button
What you can do
- 1Press the passenger window switch on the driver's door a few times and check that it returns fully
- 2Test the passenger window from the passenger's own switch to see whether the fault is in the driver's switch
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns; if the button is damaged, the control panel will need replacing, which a workshop can do
- 4Check the window fuse in the car's fuse box
