- Damaged button
What you can do
- 1Press the child-proof lock button a few times and check that it returns fully when released
- 2Check that the button is not sticking because of dirt or something lying on top of it
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns; if the button is damaged, it will need replacing, which a workshop can do
- 4If the button is undamaged and the fault remains, have a workshop check the door control module and its wiring
