What does this fault code mean?
The signals for UP and DOWN to the driver's electric window have been registered as active at the same time. This points to a damaged switch in the control panel, and the driver's window then does not work electrically.
Possible causes
- Damaged window switch
What you can do
- 1Press the switch in its up and down positions separately, and check that it does not stick
- 2Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns
- 3If the fault remains and the switch is damaged, the control panel will need replacing, which a workshop can do
- 4Check the window fuse in the car's fuse box
