What does this fault code mean?
The driver's door control module has registered that the signal from the mirror adjustment control is too low, so it is not receiving the right input from the control. The cause is a signal wire shorted to ground. The door mirror then cannot be adjusted.
Possible causes
- Signal wire shorted to ground
What you can do
- 1Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the mirror control has no contact with ground (the body), including when the door is opened and closed
- 2Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns once the mirror has been used again
- 3If a short to ground is found, have a workshop repair the wire
- 4If no short is found, the mirror control panel needs replacing
