What does this fault code mean?
A reading from one of the two mirror selector switches is registered as too low. The cause is a signal wire shorted to ground. The mirror adjustment control then does not work.
Possible causes
- Signal wire shorted to ground
What you can do
- 1Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns after you have used the mirror control
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the mirror selector buttons has no contact with ground (the body), including when the door is opened and closed
- 3If a short to ground is found, a workshop should repair the wire
- 4If no short is found, the control panel needs replacing
