What does this fault code mean?
The button for opening and closing all the windows at the same time has been registered as pressed for too long. The button may be stuck in the pressed position or damaged, and the electric windows then do not work.
Possible causes
- Button stuck in the pressed position
- Damaged button for opening and closing all windows
What you can do
- 1Press the all-windows button a few times and check that it returns fully when released
- 2Check whether each window works from its own switch, to see whether the fault is in this button
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns; if the fault is permanent, the driver's door control panel will need replacing, which a workshop can do
- 4Check the window fuse in the car's fuse box
