What does this fault code mean?
The driver's door control module has registered that the up and down signals to the driver's window are active at the same time. This happens because the driver's window control has locked in two positions, and the driver's window then does not work electrically.
Possible causes
- Driver's window control locked in two positions
What you can do
- 1Check that the driver's window control returns to its resting position both when pressed up and when pressed down
- 2Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns after the window has been used
- 3If the fault is permanent, the control module must be replaced; a workshop then has to program it and set the window's positions
- 4Look at the window fuse in the car's fuse box
Symptoms you may notice1
