What does this fault code mean?
The up and down signals for the passenger window, which is controlled from the driver's door, are active at the same time. This is because the passenger window switch in the driver's door has stuck in two positions, so the passenger window's electric lift does not work.
Possible causes
- Passenger window switch in the driver's door jammed in two positions
What you can do
- 1Test the passenger window from its own switch, if one is fitted, to see whether the fault is in the driver's door switch
- 2Press the passenger window switch in the driver's door up and down, and check that it returns to rest
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains, the control module must be replaced, and a workshop then needs to program it and set the window's position
Symptoms you may notice1
- The passenger window cannot be operated electrically
