What does this fault code mean?
The driver's electric window does not work, because the driver's door window switch has been registered as active for too long. The switch may have stuck in the active position.
Possible causes
- Window lift switch on the driver's door stays in the active position
What you can do
- 1Check that the window switch returns to rest when you release it
- 2Run the window up and down from another switch, if one is fitted, to see whether the fault is in this switch
- 3Clear the code with your own tool and see whether it persists; if the fault is permanent, the control module needs replacing, which a workshop does with programming and window setup
- 4Check the window fuse in the car's fuse box
Symptoms you may notice1
- The driver's window cannot be used electrically
