What does this fault code mean?
The window position has never been initialized in the control module, because the first initialization was not done at the factory. Automatic window operation therefore does not work until the window has been initialized.
Possible causes
- The window position has not been initialized
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then with ignition on press the window switch two steps up to check that automatic window operation works
- 2Bring the window up to its top stop using manual control
- 3Start an initialization of the window. During initialization the window goes down automatically and then rises again. From model year 2003 it only lowers a short way
- 4If the fault remains after initialization, have a workshop check the control module
