What does this fault code mean?
The control module has lost the stored window position setting, because the voltage dropped while the window lift was in use. Automatic window operation therefore does not work until the window position has been initialized again.
Possible causes
- The initialization of the window position has been lost
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then press the window switch two steps up to check whether automatic operation works
- 2Check the battery, battery terminals and fuses, since a voltage drop when the window lift is used may have caused the fault
- 3Bring the window to its upper limit by hand and start an initialization. From model year 2003 the window only lowers a short way before rising
- 4If the fault returns after initialization, have a workshop check the control module
