What does this fault code mean?
The control module registers voltage on the cable to the mirror motor for right-hand movement at the same time as the motor is activated. Power door mirror control then does not function.
Possible causes
- Signal cable for sideways mirror movement short-circuited to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check that the mirror can be adjusted sideways with the switch
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the sideways-movement cable has no contact with voltage (plus). Replace the cable if it is short-circuited
- 3Check the connectors in the right door mirror for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new door mirror
