What does this fault code mean?
The fault is stored when the motor for moving the mirror to the left is activated while the control module registers a short to ground in the cable. Door mirror control then does not function.
Possible causes
- Signal cable for sideways mirror movement short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check that the mirror can be adjusted sideways with the switch
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the cable to the mirror motor has no contact with ground (body)
- 3Check the connectors in the left door mirror for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new power door mirror
