What does this fault code mean?
The fault is stored when the power door mirror motor for folding the mirror in is activated while voltage is detected on the cable. Door mirror control then does not function.
Possible causes
- Signal cable for mirror folding short-circuited to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check with ignition on whether the mirror can be folded in and out
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the folding cable has no contact with voltage (plus). Replace the cable if it is short-circuited
- 3Check the connectors in the mirror for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new power door mirror
