What does this fault code mean?
The control module registers an open circuit in the signal to the power door mirror motor for folding, which is detected when the motor is run. Door mirror control then does not function.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal cable for mirror folding
- Blown fuse
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check with ignition on whether the mirror folds in and out
- 2Check the power door mirror fuse in the fuse box and replace it if it is blown
- 3With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the folding cable is not broken. Replace the cable if it is open
- 4Check the connectors in the mirror for oxidation and loose contacts
- 5If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new power door mirror
