What does this fault code mean?
The door module monitors the central lock button in the cabin. The fault is stored when the button has stayed pressed for a long time, because the signal then stays low. Central locking then does not work at all.
Possible causes
- The central lock button has jammed in the pressed position
- Damaged control panel
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then press the central lock button once to see if it returns to its position
- 2Check that the button is not stuck in the pressed position and that it moves freely when pressed and released
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, check in live data whether the central lock button signal shows as pressed when the button is released
- 4If the button is stuck or broken, have a workshop replace the control panel
Symptoms you may notice1
