What does this fault code mean?
The relay controlling the downward movement of the front door window motor stays in the active position, although it should be inactive. As a result the electric window lift in the front door does not work.
Possible causes
- The relay has jammed in the active position
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then lower the window with the switch to see if the fault returns
- 2Check that nothing in the front door is blocking the glass
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, read the relay status for the window down function in live data while the switch is at rest
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the relay and the control module in the front door
