What does this fault code mean?
The left front door module exchanges data with the left camera module (LCM) over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when internal components in the camera module do not work. The blind spot warning LED then does not light, and a message may appear in the information display.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the left camera module (LCM)
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then test drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Check that the fuse for the camera system is intact
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool, read live data for the left camera and see whether it responds
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the left camera module and the control module in the left front door
