What does this fault code mean?
The left front door module exchanges data with the left camera over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when the power supply cable to the LED in the blind spot warning indicator is short-circuited to voltage. The LED then does not light, and a message may appear in the information display.
Possible causes
- Supply cable short-circuited to voltage
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then test drive the car to see if it returns
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the LED supply cable has no contact with plus. Replace the cable if it is short-circuited
- 3Check the connectors at the warning indicator for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop check the left camera module (LCM)
