What does this fault code mean?
The left front door module exchanges data with the left camera module (LCM) over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when there is an open circuit in the supply cable to the LED. The LED in the warning indicator then does not light, and a message may appear in the information display.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the supply cable to the LED
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then test drive the car to see if it returns
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the LED cable is not broken. Replace the cable if it has an open circuit
- 3Check the connectors in the warning indicator for contact resistance and loose contact
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the control module in the left front door
